Pour the maple syrup into your mug and add the sea salt. Pour the espresso into the mug and give it a swirl to integrate the maple syrup and salt.
Warm your non-dairy milk with a steam wand, in a milk frother, or on the stove to about 140-160 degrees F. Pour the warmed milk over the espresso mixture. Enjoy immediately.
You can replace the espresso with about a ½ cup of strong coffee if you like.
So far, the best non-dairy milks for frothing (in my experience) are homemade nut milk, barista-style oat milks, soy milk, Tache pistachio milk, Elmhurst cashew milk, or MALK almond milk.
The maple sea salt latte is a delicious way to start your day. Espresso is sweetened with pure maple syrup and topped off with foamed non-dairy milk and a sprinkle of sea salt.
