Recipe Notes
The only vegan vanilla protein powder that I like is Sprout Living’s Epic Protein powder. I’ve used it for years! My 20% discount code for their entire website is: thefirstmess.
I prefer almond butter in this because I think the flavour is complimentary. If you are allergic to nuts, I would substitute roasted sunflower seed butter.
I know it’s fussy to have one frozen peach and one not frozen! But I always aim to give you the best, and this combination really did it for me.
In my photos, I used a bit of vegan yogurt and peach compote that I had on hand to create some visual contrast on the glass. The compote is just peeled and diced peaches cooked down over medium heat with cinnamon and a bit of maple syrup until jammy. Then I quickly whizz it in my food processor!
When I say large peach, I mean large! Mine were the size of softballs.
My vegan peaches and cream smoothie is refreshing, cool, creamy, and perfect for a satiating quick breakfast that comes together in the blender.
